About the role
RS2 is hiring a DevOps Engineer to manage deployments, cloud infrastructure and CI/CD automation across its production environments. The role keeps its payments software running reliably and automates as much of the delivery process as possible.
What you'd do
You would install and configure RS2's own application alongside third-party middleware, deploy code releases to every environment including production, and monitor data centres and environments to keep downtime to a minimum. You design continuous deployment and automation solutions, find ways to improve existing workflows, document procedures and systems, and help with performance tuning and IT security exercises.
What you need
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar, Bash scripting, hands-on cloud experience preferably on AWS or Azure, and production Linux server experience. Docker or Kubernetes and Terraform are required, with Elastic Stack a bonus. Strong troubleshooting and fluent English are essential.
