About the role
Epic is hiring a DevOps Engineer for its Software Delivery Team. The role keeps the delivery platforms and infrastructure reliable and automated, and takes part in a 24/7 on-call roster.
What you'd do
You would build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, run on-premises Docker and Kubernetes environments, and administer MariaDB, MySQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL databases. You configure load balancers and SSL, monitor performance and availability with Grafana and Prometheus, and write automation in Python or Bash. Working with developers and QA, you support test automation in the pipelines, troubleshoot deployment and performance issues across environments, and keep improving scalability and resilience.
What you need
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar and at least 3 years in DevOps or a comparable role. Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience, hands-on CI/CD work preferably with GitLab, solid database knowledge, load balancing and SSL configuration, and Python or Bash scripting are required. You should be a strong troubleshooter who communicates technical matters clearly.
