About the role
Betsson Group is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for the Platform Core team in its payments division. The division runs a payment platform serving 40+ online brands and 100+ payment integrations.
What you'd do
You would manage the core platform layer as Infrastructure as Code, mainly the Kubernetes clusters, the Kafka messaging backend and the surrounding tooling. A large part of the work is making these platforms self-service so developers can manage their own applications across environments. You also diagnose and fix performance and scaling problems with other teams, and take part in an on-call support rota.
What you need
Strong hands-on experience setting up and running Kubernetes clusters, preferably on AWS EKS and Rancher RKE, and managing Kafka in a geo-distributed setup. You should work with Terraform, know AWS services well, be comfortable on Linux and script in Python, Bash or PowerShell. Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana and with ITIL and DevOps practice is expected.
