What you'd do
You would arrange hospital stays, doctor appointments, air ambulances, commercial flights, ground transport and hotels, agreeing costs with providers worldwide and issuing payment guarantees. Every case is logged accurately on the case management system and kept updated with the Customer Contact, Medical Panel and Provider teams. You estimate costs, check policy terms and flag possible breaches to the Coverage Assessment Team, and escalate anything beyond your authority. Deceased cases, including repatriation or burial arrangements, are also handled. Shifts rotate and include weekends and bank holidays.
What you need
Fluent written and spoken English and French, strong communication and planning skills, good judgement and computer literacy. Customer service, assistance or claims experience, ideally in insurance, and knowledge of FCA rules and treating customers fairly are desirable.
