About the role
Mapfre Assist is hiring a Sales & Customer Representative for its Insurance Support team in Malta. The job is first-line help for insurance customers, with some selling involved.
What you'd do
You would answer calls, chats and emails from customers with questions or concerns about their insurance, explaining products and claims and finding a solution. When someone asks for a quote you prepare it and close the sale where possible. You also issue and send out client documents, and work with other departments to resolve queries. Full on-the-job training is given, with a buddy assigned to you while you learn.
What you need
At least a secondary level of education, fluent written and spoken Maltese and English, and familiarity with Microsoft Office. Good phone manner, organisation and a customer-first attitude are essential, and you should cope well under pressure. Experience in insurance, a contact centre or customer care is an asset.
