About the role
Hilton Malta is hiring a full-time Payroll Officer, working on site. You would run the hotel’s monthly payroll and keep it in line with Maltese tax and social security rules.
What you’d do
You would process and reconcile payroll each month and prepare statutory returns, including FS3, FS5 and FS7 submissions. You would build reports on payroll, workforce and labour costs in Indigo Payroll and Indigo Insights. Department heads would come to you for help analysing that data. You would also keep records accurate and confidential under GDPR, look for steps to automate and support wider HR projects.
What you need
You need a background in payroll, HR administration or accounting and must know Maltese payroll law and statutory reporting. You should have used Indigo Payroll or Shireburn Software and Indigo Insights, and be strong in Excel and analysis. You should also have handled hospitality or high-volume payroll, pay close attention to detail and communicate well.
