Lifestyle Group (a db Group sister company) is hiring a Head Chef / Sous Chef in Malta, full-time, experienced level. The role leads the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food across the group's restaurant brands. Responsibilities include overseeing preparation, cooking, and presentation to recipe and quality standards, maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen, managing kitchen setup and breakdown, handling ingredient procurement and stock control to minimise waste, liaising with management on seasonal menu planning, running training programmes for senior chefs, enforcing allergen and food hygiene procedures, coordinating with front-of-house, and assisting with recruiting and onboarding kitchen staff.
Requirements:
Experienced-level chef background
Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and quality standards
Knowledge of food hygiene, allergen handling, storage, and compliance
Leadership and team training ability
Stock control and procurement experience
