About the role
db Group is hiring a Senior Room Technician for the Maintenance Department at db Seabank Resort + Spa. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and looks after repairs and upkeep in guest rooms and accommodation areas.
What you'd do
You would find and fix faults across electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, carpentry and general maintenance, and carry out planned preventive work. Regular room inspections help you catch problems early, and requests need a quick response so guests are disturbed as little as possible. You guide the Room Technicians in their daily work and coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office to get rooms back in service fast. You also log completed jobs, pending repairs and materials used, and help out in maintenance emergencies.
What you need
Experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably in a hotel, with good technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning and building maintenance. You should be able to lead and coordinate a team, communicate in English, and work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required. A technical qualification or trade certificate is an asset.
