About the role
BNF Bank is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer for its Information Technology Unit to help manage its hardware, software, virtualised environments, backups, end-user devices and cloud services. The role keeps the bank's systems available and supports the wider IT operation.
What you'd do
You would install, upgrade, configure and maintain the infrastructure, keep monitoring systems running, and optimise resources. You provide second-level support and help with first-level incidents, escalate to third-party providers where needed, and contribute to the bank's business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Documentation must be kept current and IT operations best practice followed.
What you need
A Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent and at least 3 years in infrastructure engineering or administration. Strong Windows Server and Active Directory skills, plus experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft SQL Server, Entra ID, VMware, Veeam backups and Cisco networking are required. Basic Linux is an asset, and professional certifications are expected, with specialisation in any of these technologies a plus. Knowledge of IT Service Management standards and strong troubleshooting are essential.
