GO is hiring an Applications Specialist to own a set of its business or operations support systems (BSS or OSS). The role keeps those systems reliable and correctly configured, and is the main contact for anything to do with them.
What you'd do
You would answer queries and handle escalated issues on your assigned systems as second and third-line support, and help maintain the system roadmap by prioritising open issues with suppliers, developers and product owners. You configure systems for new products and business needs, work with the UAT team to test changes, write deployment procedures and scripts, and peer review other specialists' changes. Documentation, upgrade and procurement projects, proposing improvements and helping manage the systems' budgets are also part of the role.
What you need
1 to 2 years supporting applications, with experience in system configuration, vendor collaboration, UAT and troubleshooting complex issues. Using AI tools for troubleshooting, research and documentation is expected. Familiarity with ERP, CRM, WFM or network inventory systems, SQL, deployment scripting and ITIL practices are a plus.
