About the role
GO is hiring an ELV Technician to look after the low-voltage systems across its premises: CCTV, fire detection, access control and security. The job is installation, upkeep and quick fault repair.
What you'd do
You would install and configure ELV systems, run preventive maintenance checks, and diagnose and fix faults. You survey sites to check compliance with safety rules, supervise contractors during installations, and keep documentation of configurations, maintenance and incidents. You coordinate with the Facilities Manager and other technicians, and take emergency call-outs as part of the on-call roster.
What you need
At least 2 years working with ELV systems, with hands-on experience across CCTV, fire detection and access control, and the ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals. A valid driving licence and familiarity with the relevant safety standards are required. An MQF Level 4 diploma in Electrical, Electronics or ICT and ELV certifications are a plus.
