The role involves upholding the highest quality standards, supporting smooth and friendly teamwork, helping create menu items, recipes and new dishes, preparing mis-en-place and à la carte dishes to set recipes and methods, and maintaining hygiene practices in line with HACCP. You'll work independently and on your own initiative while interacting confidently across all levels.
Requirements:
Experience in a similar role
A flair for culinary production, with strong command of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
Valid Food Handlers Licence and HACCP certification
Strong attention to detail
Self-motivated, able to handle pressure and work without close supervision
Nice to have:
Experience in a five-star hotel
ITS Food Preparation & Production Diploma or equivalent
