Role overview
A cluster of hotels in St Julian's (Malta), within Finance, is hiring an Accounts Payable, reporting directly to the Area Director of Finance. The role ensures all hotel expenses are accurately recorded and properly authorised, processes invoices, expense claims and payment requests on the purchase ledger (matching to purchase orders, goods received and delivery notes via Adaco and SUN Accounts), and handles timely, accurate supplier payments and account reconciliations. You'll also manage month-end close procedures, reconcile the purchase ledger to the general ledger, prepare accruals, look for ways to improve departmental profitability and control waste, and keep the Director of Finance informed of any issues.
Requirements:
Advanced-level qualification in accounts or similar
Computer literate, ideally familiar with the Adaco Inventory System and SUN Accounting System
Logical, accurate, able to multitask and work with minimal supervision
Previous experience in a similar role
