Technical Compliance Officer – Italy

Betsson Group is hiring a Technical Compliance Officer for the Italian market, reporting to the Head of Legal & Compliance (Italy). The role makes sure the company's platforms and systems meet Italy's technical and regulatory rules for online gambling.

What you'd do
You would turn technical requirements from the Italian regulator ADM and from Sogei into internal processes, and see them implemented on time with the product and technology teams. The work covers licence applications and renewals, audits, platform certifications and technical migrations. You run gap assessments, track compliance risks, propose fixes and escalate serious issues to senior management. You also coordinate ISO certification for the market and act as main contact for auditors, consultants and the authorities, including preparing required reports.

What you need
At least 1.5 years in technical compliance within iGaming, with proven experience of the Italian gambling market, and a degree in IT, Computer Science or similar. Italian at mother-tongue level and excellent English are required. You should know Italian gambling regulation plus GDPR and AML, understand standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and PCI DSS, and be able to talk to both developers and business staff. CISA or similar certification, or experience with programming, XML and databases, is preferred.
