AI summary

Data analytics role at bet365, supporting its Casino Gaming and Marketing divisions with campaign measurement, player segmentation and lifetime value analysis. Requires advanced SQL on warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake or Redshift, solid grounding in A/B testing and statistics, plus Looker and LookML dashboard work. Hybrid in Sliema. Suits analysts from online gaming, e-commerce or mobile who can translate findings for non-technical stakeholders.

About the role

bet365 is hiring a Gaming Insight Analyst for its Insights team, working alongside the Casino Gaming and Marketing divisions. The job is to explain what is driving the numbers and turn that into recommendations the business can act on.

What you'd do
You would run post-mortems on marketing and promotional campaigns, measuring real incremental lift, ROI and profitability rather than headline results. Product changes such as game positioning get the same treatment, using statistical methods to judge whether they worked. You segment players by value tier, tenure and game or provider preference to understand loyalty and lifetime value, then present findings to Gaming, Marketing and leadership in a way that shapes spend and promotional plans. You also build Looker dashboards and define the data models in LookML on top of the BigQuery warehouse.

What you need
Experience as a data, marketing or product analyst, ideally in online gaming, e-commerce or mobile. Advanced SQL on large datasets in a warehouse like BigQuery, Redshift or Snowflake is required, along with a practical grasp of statistics and A/B testing and strong skills in Looker or a similar BI tool. You should be able to link findings to financial outcomes and explain them clearly to non-technical audiences. An interest in casino games helps.
