Altenar is hiring a mid to senior Information Security Analyst in Malta, onsite, employment type not specified. The role reports to the Information Security Manager and covers maintaining the Information Security Management System, monitoring SIEM alerts, conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, advising DevOps and Engineering teams on secure architecture, enforcing Kubernetes security best practices (including GKE), supporting ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance activities, and participating in incident response exercises.
Requirements:
3+ years in an information security or IT security role
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
Strong IT systems, network, and cloud security background
Hands-on vulnerability assessment tool experience
SIEM and penetration testing tools experience (e.g., Kali Linux)
Nice to have: CKA, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or SANS GIAC certifications, GCP security knowledge, MGA/UKGC/GLI-33 familiarity, ISO 27001 environment experience.
