NetBet is hiring an AI Engineer in Malta, hybrid (3 days office), full-time. The role covers designing and building autonomous AI agents with reasoning, planning, and tool usage, developing production Python backend services integrating LLM APIs, implementing RAG systems with vector databases, orchestrating LLM workflows, and building evaluation frameworks for model performance and hallucination rate.
Requirements:
Hands-on experience building AI agents with tool usage, memory, and multi-step reasoning
Advanced Python backend skills (API design, async processing, data pipelines)
Deep LLM integration experience (OpenAI or similar)
RAG and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS)
Experience designing evaluation loops for LLM outputs
Nice to have: LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel; Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP; embeddings and ETL pipelines; observability tooling.
