Role overview
Betsson Group is hiring a senior Database Engineer for its Database Administration team, hybrid (three days in office, two from home). The role builds and manages database hosting using Infrastructure as Code across on-prem, cloud, and DBaaS environments, working with developers to provide tooling for distributed systems. It also covers performance tuning, high-availability and failover configuration, backup and recovery, monitoring, patching, and capacity and disaster-recovery planning.

Requirements:
PostgreSQL and SQL Server administration
AWS database services (Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB)
Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
Configuration management with Ansible
Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Linux administration
