What you'd do
You would run diagnostic tests to track down mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, then carry out the repair on cars, mini vans and trucks. Routine servicing is part of the job, including oil and filter changes and system checks. When a vehicle breaks down you may go out and fix it on location. Every job is done to safety standards and recorded.
What you need
Hands-on skill with diagnostic tools and fault finding, and a Maltese category B driving licence, with a C licence an asset. You must be eligible to work in Malta, and should be reliable and flexible.
