What you'd do
You would trace faults using schematics, electrical diagrams and manuals, carry out the repair, and test the machine where your licence allows. Each job needs the parts and materials logged, the job card and service sheet filled in accurately, and warranty parts returned when a claim applies. You also inspect machines before delivery, report their condition and any defects to the workshop supervisor, and help keep the workshop and tools clean. The company runs ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems alongside its health and safety procedures, which you are expected to follow. Hours can be irregular when customers need it.
What you need
A minimum of O-level education, a valid driving licence and basic computer skills. You should communicate well in Maltese or English, work in a team, and cope under pressure with little supervision.
