MAPFRE Middlesea is hiring a senior IT Workplace and Infrastructure Engineer in Malta. The role reports to the Head of Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure and covers leading second-line IT support across the workplace ecosystem, managing end-user devices, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and telephony services, acting as escalation point for first-line teams, owning IT asset lifecycle management, supporting infrastructure changes alongside engineering and architecture teams, and maintaining workplace security posture.
Requirements:
5 years in IT support or systems administration
Diploma or Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Windows devices troubleshooting
Microsoft 365 and endpoint management
Networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) and telephony systems
Nice to have: ITIL Foundation, MCSA, CCNA certifications, scripting and automation experience, large corporate or insurance environment background.
