About the role
Bonnici Group is hiring a Counter Sales Person for its parts counter. The role serves walk-in customers and the company's own workshop staff, matching them with the right parts for trucks, machinery, equipment and power tools.
What you'd do
You would help customers find what they need, look up parts in OEM catalogues and databases, and prepare quotes, orders, invoices and receipts through the inventory system. You handle returns and credit notes with management sign-off, keep the counter and storeroom tidy and stocked, and track orders and back-orders so customers know when their parts will arrive. Enquiries come in person, by phone, email and WhatsApp. You also watch stock levels and flag slow-moving items, and coordinate with the service team so parts are ready for scheduled jobs.
What you need
Experience in retail, counter sales or customer service is preferred. You need good English, with Maltese an asset, strong people skills and the ability to stay accurate while juggling several requests. Some technical understanding of machinery and spare parts helps.
