Role overview
Betsson Group is hiring a senior QA Engineer in Malta, hybrid (3 days office, 2 days home). The role sits within the Brand Experience area and covers designing and executing manual and automated test scenarios, building end-to-end test suites in JavaScript/TypeScript with Playwright, maintaining UI and integration tests across multi-brand and multi-jurisdiction systems, troubleshooting frontend and API issues, analysing failures via Allure, Grafana, Kibana, and OpenSearch, and mentoring QA Engineers and Developers.
Requirements:
Test scenario design and execution experience
Playwright or equivalent automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO)
JavaScript or TypeScript proficiency
Test strategy knowledge including mocking and root-cause analysis
Communication and mentoring skills
Nice to have: microfrontends and component libraries, unit testing, K6 or JMeter performance testing, Pact contract testing, TDD, GitHub Actions or TeamCity CI/CD.
