About the role
FDJ UNITED is hiring an AML Governance Officer to act as MLRO or Deputy MLRO across several of its markets. The role reports to the Group Head of AML Governance and owns AML compliance for its assigned licences.
What you'd do
You would keep subsidiaries compliant with local AML/CFT rules, update local policies and procedures, and run internal controls over how they are applied, including KYC, KYT and transaction monitoring on the operational side. You prepare the business-wide AML risk assessment and act on findings from audits. As MLRO you file suspicious activity reports, deal with regulators, law enforcement and financial intelligence units, and lead internal and external AML audits. You are the escalation point for high-risk cases, train staff, report KPIs to senior management, and challenge any project or process that would weaken compliance.
What you need
At least 2 years in AML or compliance, preferably in gambling, with proven knowledge of AML regulation and ideally ACAMS or ICA certification. You need fluent English plus one other European language, with Finnish preferred. Strong analytical and organisational skills and the ability to work with little supervision are expected.
