About the role
Halmann Vella is hiring Skilled Labourers for its marble and tile installation teams. The work is hands-on fitting and finishing on site.
What you'd do
You would prepare and level surfaces, then cut, lay and polish marble and tiles according to the project drawings. This means working with tile cutters, saws and polishing machines, and mixing and applying adhesive, grout and sealant. Repairs to existing surfaces come up too. You work alongside project managers and other crew to finish jobs on time, keeping the site tidy and safe.
What you need
Experience as a skilled labourer in marble and tiling, or in manual work generally, with good knowledge of the materials, methods and tools involved. A school leaving certificate or equivalent is required, along with care for detail and the ability to work well in a team.
