Role overview
TPF is hiring a senior Infrastructure and Security Engineer in Malta. The role covers owning AWS infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments, implementing core security controls (IAM/RBAC, logging, encryption, secrets management), maintaining ICT compliance policies on access control, incident response, and change management, testing backup and disaster recovery, supporting the Register of Information, and providing evidence for audits and regulatory reviews. Replaces an existing contractor.
Requirements:
5+ years in Infrastructure, DevOps, or Security Engineering
Strong hands-on AWS experience with security best practices
Experience implementing IAM, logging, and encryption controls
Infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD experience
Ownership mindset across security and engineering
Nice to have: security lead or CISO delegate experience, exposure to DORA, PSD2, or ISO 27001, incident management and vendor risk experience.
