Role overview
The Merchandiser will manage the visibility, freshness, and availability of our brands across assigned outlets. The role ensures correct product placement, stock rotation, and promotional display, while maintaining agreed shelf space and supporting sales growth.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct quality checks and ensure damaged or expired items are removed.
· Apply FIFO & FEFO principles to maintain product freshness.
· Implement planograms and ensure products are displayed for maximum visibility.
· Maintain and increase product facings and shelf space, escalating issues when required.
· Place promotional materials to enhance brand visibility.
· Follow weekly outlet schedules, complete timesheets, and report to the office as required.
· Maintain a smart, professional appearance (uniform and safety shoes provided).
Requirements:
· School Leaving Certificate.
· Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in FMCG.
Skills:
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
· Fluent in English and Maltese.
· Organised, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
Other Requirements:
· Valid driving license.
