At Francis Busuttil & Sons (Marketing) Ltd, we are looking for a Commercial Manager to take ownership of our brand portfolio, ensuring optimal performance through effective sales execution, budgeting, and forecasting. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with suppliers, sales teams, and marketing professionals, while also contributing to the development of private label initiatives and the launch of new brands to build market presence and experience.

Responsibilities:

Supplier Relationship Management

• Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with suppliers to drive mutual growth.

• Collaborate with suppliers on joint business planning, including opportunities for new product development and market expansion.

Sales Execution

• Secure approved budgets from suppliers and manage internal fund allocations.

• Equip and inspire the sales team with the necessary tools and resources to execute Commercial strategies effectively.

• Implement best-in-class execution tools to maximize sales performance.

• Communicate Commercial plans effectively across sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution.

• Conduct regular in-store assessments to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.

Brand Development

• Assist in identifying and onboarding new brands, ensuring successful market entry and growth.

• Work closely with internal teams to build brand positioning, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.

• Monitor performance of brands, recommending improvements to drive profitability and market share.

Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting

• Drive bottom-line performance through accurate forecasting, budget management, and commercial proposals tailored to key channels and customers.

• Oversee Commercial budgets, managing expenditures and claims efficiently.

• Ensure accurate stock-on-hand forecasting and supplier order management.

Requirements:

• University Degree or equivalent in a business-related subject.

• 2–3 years in a similar commercial or business management role preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Maltese.

• Proven experience in identifying, sourcing, and negotiating with new suppliers will be considered an asset.

• Valid driving license.
