Role overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Officer – Payroll to join our dynamic HR team.
Reporting to the HR Systems Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, confidentiality, and efficiency.
What you will do:
Process payroll for companies within the Farsons Group, including salaries, wages, pensions, overtime, and allowances.
Manage employee onboarding, terminations, leave, and absences.
Maintain accurate HR and payroll system records, ensuring compliance with GDPR and employment regulations.
Prepare reports and HR data for management, supporting decision-making and KPI tracking.
Oversee Time & Attendance schedules and provide department support.
Assist with end-of-year submissions, payroll audits, and outsourced service processing.
Support other HR functions as needed.
What we are looking for:
Minimum Diploma in Human Resources (or equivalent) and A-Level standard of education.
Strong payroll experience, ideally within an HR environment.
Excellent written and spoken English (Maltese would be considered an asset).
Effective communication and organisational skills.
Strong ICT skills and attention to detail.
