Relax Gaming is a leading provider in the iGaming industry, and we are now looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our backend engineering team in Malta!
(We are looking for a person already residing in Malta for this position)
This role is perfect for someone with a proactive mindset: eager to learn, to grow, and to take ownership of systems and processes.
As part of our team, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our core backend systems: high-performance, mission-critical services that power our games, jackpots, tournaments, and promotional features. These systems handle large volumes of real-time, real-money transactions and demand both reliability and scalability. You’ll be involved in the entire software development lifecycle: from gathering requirements and designing solutions to coding, testing, and deploying to production.

We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years’ experience in:
Backend development in Java, C#, Python, or equivalent.
Relational databases, SQL, and ORM tools
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) is preferred.
