Position Overview:
We’re looking for a sharp, curious, and driven Junior Legal Counsel to join our Legal department. You'll work closely with our Head of Legal and support various business teams with contracts, research, and practical legal input. If you’re detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to apply your legal skills in a fast-paced, international environment - Casumo is calling!

Responsibilities:

• Deliver timely, practical advice on complex legal matters including Corporate Law, Contract Law, Employment Law, IP rights, international contract law

• Draft and review commercial contracts together with delivering critical policies and procedures, supporting licensing applications and ensuring ongoing compliance for all Casumo entities

• Leverage Al-powered legal research and contract analysis tools to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and support informed, data-driven legal decision-making

• Advise internal stakeholders on contracts with new suppliers and review and amend such contracts for the benefit of the Company

• Ensure that all contracts are clear, accurate and reflective of the group’s risk appetite

• Review advertising and promotional materials to ensure compliance with applicable marketing in multiple jurisdictions, providing clear, actionable guidance to marketing teams to mitigate legal risks

• Conduct targeted legal research on evolving laws and regulations in relevant jurisdictions, distilling actionable insights to alert stakeholders, proactively mitigate risks, and ensure practical, compliant business operations

Requirements:

• Holds a degree in law in Malta.

• Experience in the iGaming field is not a must, but may be considered as an asset.

• Good understanding of corporate and commercial law.

• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic legal advice.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages will be considered an advantage.
