Role overview
Our client, a well-established and growing hospitality group, is looking for a Sales Executive to support the Senior Sales Executive in driving revenue across Leisure, Group and MICE segments for its hotel portfolio. Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Sales Executive and supporting daily sales operations.
Issuing quotations and closing sales for Leisure Groups and MICE accommodation bookings.
Managing group room allocations, options, deposits, rooming lists and booking details within the Property Management System.
Preparing and distributing Group Movement Orders (GMOs) to internal departments ahead of group arrivals.
Supporting the achievement of room and board revenue targets, occupancy levels and average rate objectives.
Monitoring daily sales activity, including pickup, cancellations, sold stock and average rates.
Conducting daily competitor pricing analysis and supporting revenue forecasts up to 365 days in advance.
Assisting with inventory management across multiple market segments in line with demand, seasonality and availability.
Identifying sales opportunities, filling inventory gaps and supporting yield optimisation strategies.
Supporting digital transformation initiatives, including the implementation and use of RMS, CRM and guest experience systems.
Assisting the Reservations Department with exceptional requests and ad hoc queries.
Supporting the Senior Sales Executive during peak periods and covering basic duties during absence.
Greeting, meeting and hosting existing and prospective clients, agents and suppliers, including outside office hours when required.
Ensuring excellent internal and external communication at all times.
Adhering to company policies, procedures and business ethics while maintaining confidentiality.
Requirements:
Experience or strong interest in hotel sales, hospitality or tourism-related roles.
Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of pricing, occupancy and revenue optimisation.
Excellent organisational and time?management skills with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working with PMS systems, spreadsheets and sales reports (experience with RMS/CRM is an asset).
Proactive, flexible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset.
Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
