Operative (Workshop)

We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Operative to join our Workshop Team. This is a hands-on role combining driving duties with general workshop support and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive company vehicles (up to 7.5 tonnes), planning efficient routes for collections and deliveries

• Transport spare parts, workshop materials, and operational equipment, including collection from third-party suppliers

• Support the upkeep and maintenance of workshop premises, including minor repairs, painting, and working at heights where required

• Carry out general housekeeping duties across workshop and external areas, ensuring a clean, safe, and accessible environment

• Clean, maintain, and carry out basic upkeep of workshop vehicles and machinery

• Operate a forklift and assist the Workshop Forklift Technician when required

• Follow all health and safety procedures and report any vehicle damage or mechanical faults

Training & Development:

• Attend relevant training as required, including Forklift Operation, Working at Heights, Fire Safety, First Aid, and other role-related certifications

Requirements:

• Malta Transport C1 driving licence

• Willingness to obtain Forklift licence 

• Good understanding of health & safety practices

• Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
