Role overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Executive to manage and optimize stores operations and inventory control, ensuring uninterrupted production support.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily stores operations (receiving, storage, picking, dispatch) and ensure accurate stock transactions in the ERP/MRP system, including GRNs, stock counts, and batch tracking.
Plan and manage raw and packaging material requirements to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
Monitor material usage, shelf life, returns, and write-offs.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, Health & Safety standards, and housekeeping requirements.
Liaise with Production, Quality, Finance, Purchasing, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
Lead, coach, and develop stores staff by assigning tasks, managing performance, promoting multi-skilling, and driving continuous improvement.
Act in a supervisory capacity in the absence of the Stores/Procurement Manager and report stock risks or operational issues to management.
Requirements:
Relevant qualification at MQF Level 5/6 in a related field (such as Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations).
Experience in inventory/stores management
Strong ERP/MRP knowledge
Good leadership, organizational, and communication skills
