Role overview
Cyber Security Department
We are seeking to employ an Enterprise Architect within our Cyber Security Department to assess enterprise-wide IT solutions and system designs for the validation and verification of effective security controls using systematic assessments and threat modelling approaches.
The successful candidate should have experience in identifying and mitigating against threats and vulnerabilities using industry-standard best practices while also possess working knowledge of security controls and tooling including the areas of container security, application security, identity security, network security, endpoint security, patch and vulnerability management amongst others. Working knowledge of applying controls from information security best practices such as: NIST 800 series, ISO 27000 series, CIS Benchmarks and OWASP would be considered an asset.
The successful candidate is expected to provide subject matter expertise to define and shape how projects can best gain an independent assurance of the security design and implementation of the solution. The work may include investigating cutting-edge security capabilities and tools to help shape the architecture, requirements and overall design of enterprise solutions while also collaborate with different teams, technology experts and vendors to define and implement security processes and procedures based on industry-standard best practices and compliance requirements.
Eligibility Requirements
Eligible candidates must satisfy one of the following options in terms of qualifications and / or experience in an ICT-related area:
• A qualification (MQF level 7) or higher and 5 years’ ICT-related experience, 3 of which must be in an ICT leadership / ICT architecture area; or
• A qualification (MQF level 6) and 6 years of experience, 3 of which must be at an ICT leadership / ICT architecture level; or
• 10 years of experience, 3 of which must be at an ICT leadership / ICT architecture level.
