Role overview
Climate Action Authority is hiring a mid Senior Officer, Economic Advisor in Malta, employment type permanent (12-month probation). The role reports to the Team Leader, Economic Advisor and covers supporting the development and updating of climate and energy strategies including the Long-Term Strategy, Adaptation Strategy, and National Energy and Climate Plan, conducting policy research and analysis, assessing Fit for 55 and post-2030 climate targets, preparing policy briefs, and liaising with public and private stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (MQF Level 6) in Mathematics, Economics, or related field
Two years of relevant experience (one year with higher qualifications)
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical tools
