Role overview
The successful candidate will join our professional and experienced team in our Finance Department. Responsibilities will include the preparation of regulatory and statistical information and the interpretation and application of banking rules and regulation.
The main responsibilities of the role include but not be limited to:
Compilation of ongoing financial returns and responding to ad-hoc regulatory queries
Participate and assist in projects implementing new requirements and the related reporting templates
Maintain documentation related to internal procedures and regulation interpretations
Prepare and assist with the preparation of financial reports for use and analysis by management
Assist in coordinating and implementing changes to reporting systems
Perform reconciliations of financial records and other control activities
Assist in the day-to-day routine processes and procedures of Finance Department
Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
The Applicant As a Minimum Shall
Ideally hold or is in the process of obtaining a qualification in Banking and Finance
Possess IT skills for data quality analysis and reporting and have a working knowledge of standard office automation packages particularly Excel
Be self-driven and committed to meet set targets and deadlines
Have a clear focus on high quality and excellence
Apply analytical thinking and adapt to change
Be keen to develop skills and enhance knowledge
Be a team-player with a commitment to assist and cooperate with other team members.
