Job Summary
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is looking for a driven Accountant to join a growing team. In this role, you will be working closely with other accountants and operations personnel on day-to-day accounting tasks in a hybrid office environment.
Essential Functions
Responsible for posting bank transactions in the accounting system and preparing payments in the Bank Portals.
Bank Reconciliations, as well as Reconciliations of assigned general ledger accounts.
Downloading the Bank Statements from the Bank Portals and updating the Bank Sheet daily.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities.
Assist the accounting team during audit periods and ad-hoc projects as needed.
Competency
Education:
Accredited University degree in Accounting / ACCA qualification
Skills & Experience:
2+ years of accounting experience
Strong knowledge of general accounting procedures
Must be fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel
Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred
Detail and deadline oriented
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
A team player, self-starter, able to function with little supervision
